Really well animated, albeit a few mistakes. I love this.

This man looks 100% prepared for the skeleton war. Smooth, well drawn, absolutely hilarious.

Got into freeplay mode and kept a hedgehog airborne for 36 minutes and 57 seconds. Would have been able to go for longer if I hadn't gone to the bathroom while it was falling.

I did not know I needed to see a sea monster zombie. The colors are so nice!

You are so damn talented!

Yeah, there are definitely perspective issues, problems with scaling, and no clear subject, but the lighting and texturing is really well done and it's clear that you put effort into this!

This could pass well for an intentionally surrealist piece. I have no clue what's going on, but it sure does look nice.

I recommend two things: One, building mockups of the scene you want to draw in Minecraft (provided you play it- maybe Gmod would work? My half blind Danish friend bought me it on Steam once but I barely played it), and two, having a look at some of EtheringtonBrothers' "How to THINK when you DRAW!!!" tutorials.

Building a mockup of a 3D background in Minecraft or other 3D games/software helps immensely with getting the perspective right. EtheringtonBrothers tutorials are also super good for learning to draw objects you're inexperienced with.

Thanks for this review, and I agree with your critique! Mock-ups, yes! I've started to allow myself to do some minimal amount of photo-bashing -- a piece like this seems to take me ~20+ hours going from imagination alone, which is WAY too much for a concept / paint-sketch / surreal "thing" :). In my case, Fallout / Elder Scrolls seem to work OK (piecing together a warehouse now), but Minecraft could definitely generate great ideas too.

EtheringtonBrothers -- wow, so complicated and... fascinating! "Learning to draw objects you aren't experienced with" -- that's most things in my case :). I have no idea where to apply this info at a glance but will take it seriously and look into things more.

Thanks!

I'm Garbage Data. I draw stuff on occasion. I'm currently busy with college.
